Stacey Brown, SHRM-SCP, is currently the HR Manager for Ocean Beach Hospital and Medical Clinics in Ilwaco, Washington. She is just across the river from her hometown of Astoria, Oregon, where she lives and belongs to the Lower Columbia SHRM (LC SHRM), currently serving as President. She has been a member of the chapter since 2008 where she began serving as the Student Relations Coordinator. She has since been Communications Director, College Relations Director, and Diversity Director, and has served as President of the chapter for many years. Stacey was the Oregon SHRM Director in 2017, where she sat on the NHRMA board on behalf of Oregon State. HR is her passion, and her community has embraced that by asking her to do many things HR-related, as she tends to be their go-to for HR advice. Stacey has volunteered countless hours, including training for various organizations, primarily non-profits. She taught the Small Business HR course for several years for the local community college, as well. Stacey is excited to serve on the NHRMA board and looks forward to the great work ahead!
