Ways to Learn and Grow
NHRMA provides quality learning, relationship-building, and recognition experiences in partnership with the HR communities of the Northwest Region.
Learning opportunities include:
Self-study courses are offered in partnership with the Academy for Innovative HR (AIHR). This is a source for professional development credits (PDCs).
Certification preparation classes - held virtually with trainers located in the Northwest.
Pre-approved learning events through which you may earn SHRM and HRCI professional development credits (PDCs); the Annual Conference and Tradeshow is an event at which numerous experts present workshops and lectures that meet standards for PDCs.
Learning by serving - inquire about service on the NHRMA board to learn more about non-profit voluntary organization management.
Annually, the HR Leaders of Tomorrow Conference (HRLT) invites students and recent graduates to gather for a conference to network, hear speakers, and explore the fun of HR careers.
We repost announcements of seminars, webinars, and workshop events sponsored by SHRM chapters and councils in the Northwest when we learn of them. Check the NHRMA resources. The NHRMA site also lists organizations, including SHRM chapters and chapters serving payroll, talent development, total rewards professionals, and others serving the needs of HR professionals.
