President:
Provide leadership to NHRMA consistent with NHRMA’s mission, policies, strategies, and objectives. Effectively operate the council in support of the needs of the Pacific Northwest region’s HR professionals. Perform other duties as required by the organization's bylaws.
Vice President:
Serves as an elected officer of the NHRMA Board of Directors. Assists the President in overseeing all activities of the board. In the absence of the President, performs all the Presidential responsibilities. Works with the NHRMA Board to establish policy, strategies, and objectives. Provides guidance to elected, appointed, or volunteer representatives who are responsible for accomplishing NHRMA objectives.
Past-President:
Advise the president and other officers and members of the board of directors regarding past practices, general operations, and other matters to assist in the smooth operation of the council.
Secretary:
Responsible for distributing agendas for Board meetings, taking notes and distributing final copies of Board minutes to the Board Members. Files documents in the shared BaseCamp site. This position also maintains the Board Contact list.
Treasurer:
Act as a financial officer and advisor to the council board of directors. Maintains the council's mailbox and distributes mail to the appropriate officer, director, or chair. Send notices and other invoices to sponsors. File appropriate forms and information with the IRS.
Partnership Director:
Provide support and communication to sponsors and partners.
Conference Director:
Provides coordination of the annual conference in conjunction with a conference management company.
Communications Director:
Provide timely and comprehensive information about events, conferences, and topics of interest. Updates and manages the website and social media as needed.
Awards & Recognition Director:
Organizes annual award submissions and plans recognition of those being honored.
College Relations Director:
Liaison to students and other newcomers to the HR profession and leads the NHRMA HRLT conference planning.
